Funded by United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland and Neighborhood Connections, "A New You For A New Life" has partnerships with the Mt. Pleasant Micro Youth Business Project, and most recently, expanded relationships with Dress For Success, Y-Haven and two programs under the Fatherhood Initiative umbrella: Passages and Rising Above. Each organization offers a specialized service that enriches many elements of the entrepreneurship and employment curriculum.
A New You For A New Life workshops help participants advance in their employment and life goals. Particularly for the at-risk teens, the workshops enhance their opportunities to learn about and become entrepreneurs which offers employment, thereby engaging the teens in positive activities which helps them become contributing, positive members of the community and deters them from negative behaviors and activities. The A New You For A New Life project helps individuals become more employable and stay employed, thereby having a positive impact on the community's economy.
A New You For A New Life serves at-risk teens from the Mt. Pleasant Micro Youth Business Project; Teen and young fathers from the Fatherhood Initiative; women in career transition from Dress For Success; and men in transition overcoming homelessness, substance abuse and unemployment from Y-Haven.

A New You For A New Life enhances participants' abilities to address and overcome personal, family, health and employment issues. Participants learn new (or reinforce) communication and interpersonal skills in order to become more effective communicators in specific situations, such as entrepreneurship as an alternative to traditional employment; improving relationships with, and serving, neighbors, families, children; or adopting job-search skills; employment interviews; advancing careers on the job

"A New You For A New Life: Creativity . Collaboration. Community" combines performing, video and virtual media arts to create non-traditional small businesses for economically disadvantaged at-risk teens, women and men in transition, and senior adults to empower them to be creative and self-sufficient and better able to serve family, children and the community, when traditional employment opportunities are limited or non-existent. The end result of the project: A 2-day "New You" exposition of live theatre performances, documentaries, demonstrations of virtual media marketing, and sales of promotional items, such as T-shirts and mugs, all created by participants..
